CAUSES OF DISEASE

The human body has genetic weaknesses inherited from our forefathers and mothers. For some it is the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, joints, muscles, etc., which determines our soft or weak spots which may predispose us to disease of these organs early or later in our lives.

We all know of someone who has cancer, TB or is HIV+ and has lived for many years. Yet, some become very sick or die soon after diagnosis. Why is this so?

The answer lies in the state of the immune system. The resistance of the body against the invader. These invaders come in many forms called pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, parasites, poisons, toxins, heavy metals, acids and drugs.

The lack or absence of vital trace minerals, vitamins, essential fats and oil and amino acids is primarily due to the refined nutrient deficient over-heated and toxic foods we eat.

When a person is ill, whatever the symptoms, it indicates an out-of-balance condition with sick cells and tissues and a weak immune system. The longer one postpones correcting the imbalance, the worse the condition becomes, often with prolonged pain and ultimately premature death.

Only very occasionally permanent but most of the time temporary relief is obtained from taking one single drug or a number of drugs or remedies or surgery. This results in the perception that a miracle drug, ointment or treatment exists.

Constipation, pimples, strong smelling perspiration, bad breath is the first indications that the body is struggling to rid itself of toxins.

  • SPIRITUALLY - We are basically the SUM TOTAL of our innermost and continued FAITHS and BELIEFS.
  • MENTALLY - We are basically the SUM TOTAL of our innermost and repeated THOUGHTS.
    "As ye think in your heart, so are ye!"
  • EMOTIONALLY - We react to outside stimuli according to deep-seated trauma and emotions that are stuck in our body, that control (direct) our reactions and feelings.
  • PHYSICALLY - We are basically the SUM TOTAL of the materials - FOOD, DRINK, AIR, and WATER.
    The Human Body
    is only an instrument through which life flows and expresses itself.
    Spirit cannot flow through a polluted, dis-eased body.

Detoxing cannot only happen on one level of a holistic person, all aspects must be considered, therefore we must clean ourselves on all 4 levels.

FOODS TO AVOID

Sugar, icing sugar i.e. sucrose artificial
Powdered artificial sweeteners e.g. Canderal sweeteners like aspartame
Jams, marmalade and syrup
Chocolates and sweets, Jellies, Puddings, ice cream
Commercial breads, rolls, croissants, pita bread – In Other words white flour
Commercial doughs, dough and batter mixes for cakes, scones, waffles, pancakes, etc.
Stuffings, breadcrumbs, gravy powders
Cakes and pastries
Breakfast cereals, refined or with added sugar or malt
White rice and white flour pastas
Margarine
Sunflower oil
Fried food

DAIRY
Sweetened milk drinks, Sweetened fruit yoghurt
Avoid dairy products – especially if you have sinus
Cheeses esp. strong "smelly" Cheeses
PROTEINS
Bacon, ham, red meat, nor any processed/ Salted/pickled meat and fish
Raw eggs contain substance called avidin that interferes with absorption of biotin
Sausages containing cereal and spices
Processed soya products
VEGETABLES
Most canned vegetables have sugar and/or MSG added, especially tomato purees/products and juice

FRUITS

  • Grapes, berry fruits and melons often carry moulds
  • Canned fruits, even those in natural juice
  • Boxed, bottles, canned and frozen with sugar fruit juices

ADDITIVES, CONDIMENTS & SNACKS
MSG – Monosodium Glutamate in spices, stock cubes, gravy mixes, soya sauce, Chinese food, flavoured crisps, canned bottled, processed food and mixes
Anything with a preservative

  5. Don't allow yourself to become constipated. The health of your colon is very indicative of your over-all health. Stools should consistently be at least 20mm in diameter, light brown in colour, have good consistency, and should float. You should have 2 or 3 bowel movements each day (one for each meal). Some flatulence is normal and healthy, but should have no odour.
